It’s year three of the Happy Barnet Craft Challenge!! Can you believe it!!
For 2020 we’ll habe more craft challenges and ideas, how-to posts and newbie guides to encourage you to try new things and find new inspiration for all your crafting projects!
The Challenges:
Take a look at the list of craft challenges below and pick as many as you feel comfortable completing. They are grouped into two sets:
Yellow Challenges = fun and inspiration
Blue Challenges = learn something new
Keep Track
Download our craft challenge tracker sheets here so you can tick off the challenges as you go! And of course, if you share in our groups, you’ll receive one of our coveted “challenge completed” ticks! oooooooh
Join in!
It doesn’t matter what craft(s) you enjoy or how experienced you are, everyone is welcome to join in and our Facebook group is one of the best places to do that. You can also follow our posts on the Happy Barnet Twitter and Instagram accounts. And don’t forget to use the #happybarnetcraftchallenge hashtag so we can see your projects and share them with our other craft challengers….and feature them in our challenge galleries!!!

The blue challenges! It’s all about trying and learning something new!
If you’ve taken part in our craft challenge before you’ll know the blue challenges stay the same each year. How you approach them though will be different each year!

It’s time for some fun and inspiration, it’s the yellow challenges!!
These are all new this year apart from the bonus challenge which was just too good not to repeat!

Make something in the 2020 colour of the year: Classic Blue
Make something featuring the 2020 Chinese zodiac animal, the rat
Get ready, set, play! Make a toy, game or puzzle
Make something inspired by a book, story or character
Get personal! Make something personalised for you or someone you know
It’s the year of the nurse, be inspired by nursing, health or medicine
Get waving! Be inspired by flags, pennants or bunting
Go green and make something eco-friendly
Add a pop of colour and make something with spots or dots
Set yourself a challenge OR ask a fellow craft challenger to set a challenge for you
BONUS CHALLENGE! Make to donate, create something for charity
