The Happy Barnet Craft Challenge 2019!
We’re back!! Last year was the very first Happy Barnet Craft Challenge and we’re back in 2019 with more challenges, ideas, blogs and guides to encourage you to try new things and find new inspiration for all your crafting projects.
The Challenges:
Take a look at the list of challenges below, grouped into two sets, one for fun and inspiration (yellow challenges) and the other to encourage you to try something new (blue challenges). Pick as many or as few challenges as you feel comfortable completing.
Keep Track
Download our blue and yellow craft challenge record here so you can tick off the challenges as you go! And of course, if you share in our groups, you’ll receive one of our coveted “challenge completed” ticks!
Join in!
It doesn’t matter what craft(s) you enjoy or how experienced you are, everyone is welcome to join in and our Facebook group is one of the best places to do that. You can also follow our posts on brand new Twitter and Instagram accounts. And don’t forget to use the #happybarnetcraftchallenge hashtag so we can see your projects and share them with our other craft challengers!
Our challengers asked for more group events so this year we are introducing:
WIP Wednesday - you can share anytime but each Wednesday from 7-8 we’ll have a catch up in our Facebook group and of course using the hashtags on Twitter and Instagram
Newbie guides - it’s great to share ideas anyone can submit a newbie guide. If you are interested, get in touch at hello@happybarnet.com
Sunday sessions - the last Sunday of each month (unless otherwise arranged) we’ll have a Facebook live event. It might be a demo or it could be a questions/answers session. Whilst I have a few ideas, you can also get involved. Get in touch at hello@happybarnet.com

Try a traditional craft from another region/country
It's the year of the periodic table; find an element to be inspired by!
Set yourself a challenge (and share it with the group!)
Be inspired by birth stones, colours and flowers to create a gift for yourself or a friend
